lyrics

Boom zap zee dap zoom bom zap zedap zoom bom bom bom

Many years from now will people still stare at the stars

Wond'ring if another will ever get to walk on mars

Will we see the night sky through a cloudy toxic haze

Will we be expanding or will it be the end of days

Can we get together maybe work towards the cause

Exit planet earth and go to live amongst the stars

Terraform the heavens and get closer to the truth

Get rid of all confessions and use the wood up from the booth

Oh the quest for knowledge that can never be complete

But that don't mean that we should bitch and keep dragging our feet

All the indicators say that one day we must go

And I wish that I could see it cause it'll really be a show

But I was born too early though we're living at the peak

The internet needs to reset for most days of the week

To travel to another world there's still so much to know

Many years development and many more to go

Surviving all the hazards will not be an easy feat

But something more it seems before we all will have to beat

Fighting the antiquity to reach out from the dark

Take that brilliant idea and just knock it out the park

Boom zap

To the skies, to the skies we go

What we'll find we don't exactly know

Boom zap

To the skies to find another home

What a thing to really boldly go

If you think that it's impossible and only ends in tears

Just look how far we have come in less than fifty years

From dream to speech to space flight and men landing on the moon

While people gathered awestruck to watch it in their living rooms

If people liberate themselves from superstitious doubt

We might just inch a little closer to what it's all about

Accepting with humility there's lots more left to learn

We know so much but not enough to plan for the return
