Midnight Run 04:32
if we have had enough we don't have to tow their line what matters most is us and how we want to spend our time we could start again it doesn't matter where we are in a new town we can be anyone we want we could leave tonight we could make a midnight run we'd be far away before anybody knows we're gone but keep it to yourself don't spread it like a forest fire keep it on the down low i'll reach you on the calling wire i don't want their jokes i don't want them judging me and if we were to stay we could never find the time to leave if they found us out would they punish you or me this time i don't wanna live anywhere they say ideas are crimes but keep that to yourself don't spread it like a forest fire keep it on the down low i'll reach you on the calling wire anywhere we are we could build a house of love no matter what we've got with each other we will have enough we could swear an oath we could make a lifelong pact to keep each other close and i don't need a god for that i won't keep it to myself i will spread it like a forest fire tell everybody else i will tell them 'til my blood runs dry i won't keep it to myself i will spread it like a forest fire tell everybody else i will tell them 'til my blood runs dry yeah

Change 04:25
I'm stressed Depressed Need to eat more need to drink less Think long and hard of what's best Need to get this frog off my chest I walk on my feet Don't knock on doors If I had paws guess I'd walk on all fours Give me your drink What's mine is yours If I could quit It'd be cause for applause I kid myself when I'm sat on my arse I'm not unemployed I'm just freelance I like to talk I like to dance I like to read books and i like to play cards I dislike fakes And am wary of greed I like the taste But I smoke too much weed And that makes it worse No coins in the purse Gonna give me an early ride in the back of a hearse For a change tonight I won't cry But I need another way to pass the time Got no money Got no style Got no more substance on which to rely I'm on the scrounge for things to find Like a bit of Baccy or a bottle of wine Think I may go outta my mind If it ain't already happened over time I need a change Need to help myself Need to wise up and improve my health Need to stop blaming the hand I'm dealt But I guess I need a little bit of help myself I shout and I cuss When it all gets too much Direct my anger at the ones I love Push away people who care for me Bite and scratch at the hand that feeds If people wanna listen I'll tell them what I think Just don't listen when I had too much drink I peed in your pocket, said it was rain Keep your eyes open or I'll do it again I'm a sarcastic bastard Like how do you do I can already see that I'm better than you Jealousy abounds It gets me down act a clown Spit venom and I frown If I wanna share my life With someone nice Better get better at being liked This is it Fight or flight Thought I got it but I was dreaming tonight Between my dreams I blur the lines I exist in different times Parallel places Hidden minds Gotta wake up now this worlds mine Nine am I'm still in bed Must have a screw loose inside of my head Can't just accept what society says So I pull the covers over my head instead

To The Skies 05:13
Boom zap zee dap zoom bom zap zedap zoom bom bom bom Many years from now will people still stare at the stars Wond'ring if another will ever get to walk on mars Will we see the night sky through a cloudy toxic haze Will we be expanding or will it be the end of days Can we get together maybe work towards the cause Exit planet earth and go to live amongst the stars Terraform the heavens and get closer to the truth Get rid of all confessions and use the wood up from the booth Oh the quest for knowledge that can never be complete But that don't mean that we should bitch and keep dragging our feet All the indicators say that one day we must go And I wish that I could see it cause it'll really be a show But I was born too early though we're living at the peak The internet needs to reset for most days of the week To travel to another world there's still so much to know Many years development and many more to go Surviving all the hazards will not be an easy feat But something more it seems before we all will have to beat Fighting the antiquity to reach out from the dark Take that brilliant idea and just knock it out the park Boom zap To the skies, to the skies we go What we'll find we don't exactly know Boom zap To the skies to find another home What a thing to really boldly go If you think that it's impossible and only ends in tears Just look how far we have come in less than fifty years From dream to speech to space flight and men landing on the moon While people gathered awestruck to watch it in their living rooms If people liberate themselves from superstitious doubt We might just inch a little closer to what it's all about Accepting with humility there's lots more left to learn We know so much but not enough to plan for the return

Love 04:51
she's in my head crawl across the bathroom just to escape you she's in my bed she shouldn't of allowed this it's too much of a risk oh i stare at this figure way above me she's just too proud of me she's fallen in love fallen in love got no crazy superstitions or lazy inhibitions about love like cuts from above and the hand that rocks the cradle is way beneath the table the doorbell rings it's her beau from back in time where all the animals sing and i could never win she wants me when i'm bad but when i'm good it's just a sin and i could pray for rain to wash away the anger all the misery and pain i hope she's gone insane and tomorrow will be different but i know it's all the same she's fallen in love fallen in love got no crazy superstitions or lazy inhibitions about love like cuts from above and the grass is always greener when i never get to see her she bends the rules it's something of an issue when she refuses to lose but i'm not a fool i learned a lot about her from all the other boys at school they said she'd fallen in love fallen in love got no crazy superstitions or lazy inhibitions about love like cuts from above and i've got no ammunition i just wish that i had listened to my friends

At Sea 03:56
In the chair there is a rattlesnake who's haunted by the sea His father was a sailor back in nineteen forty three On the steps there is a drunkard who is slowly coming round His hands are done up backwards and his feet are off the ground A drunkard plies his trade by practice learning all the while Spend all their time here... The snake had joined the circus after many failed attempts At writing dirty magazines and sitting on the fence They say he had a woman once who left him for a song He bought her lots of jewellery but always got it wrong Alas the lass had bigger dreams than rattlesnakes conceive For shame he couldn't make it here to give a little speech He plays the role of tightrope as it's almost Halloween Spends all his time there... He tried to be a diver but he always got the bends He sang upon a cruiseship just to try to make amends Packed up all his whistles and he headed out to sea He said you ain't got long to live, when living it with me And all the men have wooden teeth and fingers made of rope Scrub the decks a hundred times on any given boat Battle hardened bastards soaked in rum and brine Spend all their time here... The mercy of the ocean is a fickle thing indeed For gods and kings or anyone can lose themselves at sea The creaking of the timber deck sings a mournful tune And men can lose their minds whilst they are staring at the moon The rattlesnake had hit the rocks and hit the booze as well And when he walked out to the docks he tripped ashore and fell Off of the wagon chasing dragons all that's left to tell Spends all his time there... In the chair there is a rattlesnake who's haunted by the sea His head is full of shopping lists, he looks a lot like me

Gonna get up today Gonna get my head straight Cause summers coming I can hardly wait Can't shake a frown when the weathers down Don't like myself Don't like my town But things are gonna change Change is gonna come So I'm gonna go soak up the sun Mood is great Gonna call up my mates Get out and about in the warming rays We had a long dark winter Too much rain Not enough sun touch a man in the brain It's not unusual But it's a shame Wet on the way to work will make me complain Though I born in the snow It's the sun I love Like uv rays are are a blessing from above It almost make me forget I don't believe in god But when it's shining like it is today I just feel good I Am ready for the summer I Am ready for the sun When the sky is clearer We gonna have some fun But when the time gets nearer Cause we've only just begun Shorts and sunnies Hat and a vest To cover up the belly Get a tan on the rest Phone in my pocket Wallet in the back Headin out the house With a football in my bag Gotta enjoy it Nothing can stop me Til the winter come again and ill be sorry But for now its cooking Right now its warm So now I'm happy and now I'm on form Chillin with a bevvy In the back of the pub Arguing the BBQ don't ya think they're done If we could spend our days in total summer That would be wicked cause the winter is a bummer I know it comin Don't wanna face it Cause I like the heat hate the freezing Cold around the corner is always near So we'll hang on to the memories until next year

I would like to discover A new way to be A world like no other Where we can be free I fail to recall how it got so messed up Was it on purpose Or just my dumb luck Why'd we have to keep secrets Keep a chain round the past Why'd we have to discover The biggest lies last Why do I still remember How we burned and crashed And I left it too late, to reciprocate But I'd still take you back And I have a theory Yeah I have a view I have some pet hates And I know you do too Like thinking too deeply About the future of us Or treating you cheaply Shoulda made more of a fuss But why'd we have to spread rumours About our hates and our fears Kind of thing will destroy us Eats away at the years Why did we ever fight so Why'd we go on attack And I want to escape, but it may be too late Why can't we just go back I could build a machine So we could all start again And I could stay or could leave But I guess that all would depend On if you would have me In one time or not I'd ask if you missed me Or if you forgot So why'd we have to keep jumping Through our space and time Why'd we have to revisit All of your faults and mine Can I not just tell you All the lessons I learned And it's only because, I want you to love That I won't return I won't return
